We are raising £90,000 to buy a much-needed, adapted Minibus for Sir Charles Parsons Special Needs School, by cycling 1000 miles, the length of the UK,in 10 days
OK, folks. So here is my latest challenge. My local Special Needs School – Sir Charles Parsons, who looks after Children with multi-complex disabilities and does an amazing job in the community, are in desperate need of a new, specially adapted Minibus.
This will give the Children roughly 13 more years of access to all, field trips, educational visits and days out. Having been involved with the school and seen first-hand the essential work and joy that is brought to the children, I have decided to do my best to raise the grand total of £75,000 and provide this much-needed Minibus that these kids so deserve.
I will cycle the length of the UK, roughly 1000 miles, in 10 days. I’m used to jumping around a Rock n Roll show stage, but do not cycle, so clearly this is going to be a horrendously hard task, of which I endeavour to tackle with non stop training and perseverance. I am appealing to my friends and followers of the band, around the Globe to please support me and make this possible.
If all our followers gave £1, we would actually reach the goal!! Times are financially difficult, however, and all charities are worthy in their own right, so any help to this cause is massively appreciated. I’ve given myself a good start, by perfoming for donations, raising a great beginning sum of over £9000.
